THE SECRET GARDEN
This is our new Dorset based studio where we make each piece of glass . We have just expanded our craft studio by moving to Stalbridge and we are working on a farm surrounded by sounds, sights and smells of the country !.
We supply retail trade customers in the UK through attending the smaller trade gift fairs and having representation in Scotland and this year we hope to develop some hand painted candles and kitchen accessories which we will be ready to launch at Giving and Living at Exeter and also the Scotland Trade Fair at the SECC in January 2011
We began 10 years ago by exhibiting at Craft Fairs and County Shows throughout the country and were surprised and delighted at how well the glassware was received as people said they had never seen anything quite like it before. This spurred us on to attempt a trade fair which if successful would open up a new market for us
.We attended Select British in Exeter where buyers could see product that was made in the UK. We have never looked back Creating new outlets by supplying independent gift shops, botanic gardens, galleries , tourist attractions and garden centres
.As a small family run cottage industry, we make to order and need 4 - 6 weeks ideally from order to delivery. The service we offer to our customers is vitally important - but having sufficient notice especially at the run up to Christmas is essential to us being able to offer our customers excellent service.
